That resulted in millions of women losing their right to make their own healthcare decisions. Harry is proudly pro choice and would always fight for a woman’s right to choose. He knows that if anti-choice Republicans have their way, they’d not only take away Mifepristone and IVF – they’d let politicians ban abortion even in the cases of rape or incest. Not on Harry’s watch. In Congress, Harry will:
- Work to enshrine a women’s right to access abortion into federal law.
- Codify women’s rights to Mifepristone, IVF, and all forms of contraception into federal law.
- Increase federal funding for Planned Parenthood and other organizations that provide reproductive care.
- Support legislation to protect women seeking abortion care from threats and harassment while also providing blue states like Maryland with additional resources to handle a surge in women seeking reproductive care.
- Expand the Violence Against Women Act to protect women from workplace harassment and domestic violence.
