Harry believes in the right to a dignified and secure retirement for hard working Americans. Social Security and Medicare are at the center of this goal. Republicans have been working to dismantle or privatize these cornerstones and we will not let them. In Congress, Harry will:

• Raise the Social Security Payroll Tax Cap to prevent insolvency. 
• Invest in and modernize the Social Security Administration to reduce its costliness and improve service quality.
• Protect Medicare and Medicaid from funding cuts.
• Protect the retirement age.
